Forensic waveform capture for mission-critical environments

Critical infrastructure cannot afford downtime. When an outage event occurs, you need detailed electrical data to determine the root cause.

Verdigris EV2 Pro Power Quality Meter installed in a data center

Traditional power quality analyzers require a technician to connect, capture a window of data, and disconnect. EV2 Pro captures raw waveforms continuously across every monitored circuit. When a sag, swell, or transient occurs, the data is already recorded, timestamped, and accessible via API.

High-quality forensic data when you need it most

When power events occur, EV2 Pro delivers the high-resolution data you need for root cause analysis.

EV2 Pro power quality meter capturing waveform data
    • Continuous power source provides over 30 seconds of direct power at the moment of a power loss event to the energy data gateway
    • Capture high fidelity waveforms before and after an event, timestamped to the exact moment of the power loss
    • Access and integrate data via the Sag/Swell Capture API

    Validated data accuracy

Continuous algorithmic validation delivers high-quality data at scale

    Circuit-level granular data

Detailed data down to the circuit level, sampled at 8 kHz

    Reliable, continuous power

Capture 30 seconds of data before and after outage events

We selected Verdigris as a modern alternative to legacy electrical metering systems with a focus on data and analytics. Within a few weeks we were able to get actionable visibility into cooling infrastructure performance.

What EV2 Pro adds to the platform

Standard EV2 meters capture steady-state waveforms at 8 kHz. EV2 Pro adds raw voltage and current waveform capture before, during, and after power events. This forensic data enables root cause analysis: when a breaker trips or a UPS transfers, you see exactly what happened at the electrical level.

    * Raw Voltage and Raw Current Waveform measurements require EV2 Pro hardware.
